We had well over 300 people come to dream big with us for our second BIG Dream Gathering!

The volunteers that made it all possible!

This was located in a great old building in downtown Des Moines!  (Thanks to our friend Drew McLellan and his find team at MMG!)

The atrium became our reception area.  We were able to adapt some open offices into our “encouragement room” and old gutted movie studio functioned as our BIG DREAM ROOM!

I think we broke every fire code imaginable… but it sure was fun!

Dream: To open “Brenda’s Dream” an Ice Cream DELIVERY service.   Yes, I said it! You call me…I will bring your hot fudge sundae right to your front door! Its that simple (and it’s a great idea so don’t steal it!)

The Big Dream Gathering – this version – is winding down. There are still a lot of people in the room, though it’s quieter than it was earlier.

This is Melissa Matthews (Mrs. Mitch). Seemed like a fitting image to conclude the live blogging session.

I don’t know how many people have come through, but if the numbers on the forms mean anything, we are in the 600s. And in the beginning I saw single digits.

The time went really quickly for me. Between taking photos, posting about the event, and posting dreams for people, I kept really busy.

WOW ! We finally made it to the Big Dream Room. As you can see, the walls are filling up with dreams. People are connecting and sharing. There’s an energy and a buzz in the room. It’s going to be exciting to hear some of the neat things coming out of this event.

Dream:

To help people become financially independent by offering them a position within our company as an independent agent (mortgage protection specialist/financial planner).
