Well... Lucas and Mike have done it again.  Yup... our video dream team have put together a video update of two BIG dreamers.

Click the video link and hear about Charlie's inspiring dream to bring a taste of New Orleans to the world and to bring help from the world to New Orleans.  Plus, you'll hear an update from Kate about her BIG dream to bring heart AND fashion to real people.

Changes to the BIG dream gathering? Update 1

As promised... we wanted to let you know about some updates to the BIG dream gathering.

UPDATE 1:  We are making some special accommodations for members of the military and their families!

• First of all... they will have a special check-in table. 
  • This will speed up the check-in process... and it will also enable us to provide them with dream sheets that have an American flag. 
  • We thought this might help their dreams get a little extra recognition. 
• We are also adding a new BIG dream category just for them. 
  • Again, this will allow for a little extra attention and love for some people who deserve it!
  • Obviously, if they want to put their dreams in other categories... that's great too.  Their dream sheets will have a flag on them... so they will stand out in any category!

A BIG dream gathering update...

Hey gang... we're about 2 1/2 weeks out from the next BIG dream gathering on May 13th... so I thought it might be good to let you know about how things are going to play out with this site leading up to it!

Over the next week, you can watch for daily updates on how we're adding some fun additions to the next BDG!

Then... as we get closer to the BIG night... we'll start to feature some more BIG dreamers via video, podcasts and written interviews.  (Click here to get a taste of what we're talking about.)

The goal of these interviews won't necessarily be to offer a "how-to" of going after your BIG dreams.

Nope.  The goal of these interviews will be to inspire you to figure out "what" your BIG dreams are... and to think about "why" it's important to go after them. 

Once you've figured out those things... the "how" will come.   

So... stay tuned and be checking back in. 

In the meantime... please help us spread the word.  We don't have a BIG budget for this thing... so there won't be any TV or radio commercials.  All we have is YOU... letting the world about it. 

So, let people know you are coming... and bring 10 of your closest friends with you. 

Just think about what could happen if we fill that BIG room with BIG dreamers?!?  It'll be a little taste of heaven. 

And... I guarantee that it will be a safe, fun and encouraging space that could launch 1,000 + dreams!

Our first BIG dream gathering podcast!

Okay... so it's a series of firsts.  Last week, it was our first "fun" promotional video.

Now... we have our first BIG dream gathering podcast. 

Our goals with these podcasts will be the same as the goals we have for the BIG dream gathering. 

That's to encourage as many people as possible to unlock their BIG dreams. Then to encourage them to connect with people they can help and to connect with people who can help them! 

Yup.  It's that simple.

Sound good?  Then listen in... and check back often.

This first podcast is a 15 minute interview with BIG dreamer... Adam Carroll.

 

Adam is the Chief Education Officer for two companies he has started...  National Financial Educators and Four Legacies Mortgage. 

You'll get to hear a little bit about his BIG dreams and how he's gone after them.  You'll also hear about times when he's received help... and given help. 

It's an inspiring story and in many ways... it's the picture of dreaming BIG!

We're less than a month away from the next BIG dream gathering!

It's going to happen on Tuesday, May 13th from 6:30 to 10 pm at the Polk County Convention Center!

So... plan on coming... bring some friends... and DREAM BIG!

By the way... how about this picture?  There's a great story behind it! 

It's one that our BDG photographer... Trish Toma-Lark... took last night. 

We were in the middle of doing a publicity photo shoot of some BIG dreamers. 

Will (son of BIG dreamer Kate Klein) grabbed the DREAM BIG sign and asked for his picture to be taken.  Heck... it turned out to the one of the best of the night!  How cool is that?!?!

Plus... isn't it the picture of how things are supposed to be?  You just KNOW that he's gunna be a BIG dreamer!

So... let those dreams keep percolating in your heart and get ready to dream BIG on May 13th!

Oh... and please... spread the word.  We want to world to know about this... but we need your help to do that.  So... THANKS in advance... for inviting 5 to 10 friends!

Another BIG dream update...

Here's a fun update!

We shot it to help promote 2007's BIG dream gathering. 

As you watch it... look for the dude talking about his BIG dream of doing something with music!  His name was Scott and we just happened to catch him while he was working that day.

Well... we got to catch up with Scott last week and get an update on his BIG dream.  And guess what?  Things have been happening!  Cool stuff!

Adam left California to come back to Iowa to launch his BIG dream!

Also... there's a cool story behind this.

Adam had heard about the BIG dream gathering, but hadn't been in Iowa when any of the previous BDG's had gone on. So he came to the last BIG dream sheet pick up to check things out and check in with us.

We were shooting some video updates of some BIG dreamers and even though Adam hadn't been to a gathering before... he was more than willing to do this video to talk about the BIG dream on his heart.

How cool is that?

So... he'll be at the next BIG dream gathering on May 13th.  (He let me know he's already written out his BIG dreams to post on the walls!)  So... if you are digging his dream... come and connect with him!

And like Adam... keep dreaming BIG!
